GALI experiment led by ASRI member and former Director, Prof. Ehud Behar, and Prof. Shlomit Tarem, both from the Physics department, as well as an experiment for the first-ever fabrication of optical components in space, led by ASRI member, prof. Moran Bercovici, from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will be launched to the ISS as part of the Ramon Foundation and the Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology’s “Rakia Mission”, to be conducted there by Mr. Eitan Stibe, the second Israeli to ever reach space.
